I have listened to the speeches by Ashley Judd and Madonna a number of times now, and they still continue to shock me. Not because I am offended, rather because I am concerned about the message feminists are now sending to young impressionable girls.
We can do this, we can stop Trump
In a few hours 538 electors from all different backgrounds, states and counties within America, will determine who America’s next president is. As this process is generally considered a formality, Trump has already formed a presidential cabinet, and Hillary Clinton has already conceded the elections and faded away from the spotlight. However, these 538 electors do not have to vote for the person their state selected. They can choose to vote for anyone else or abstain altogether. It is this possibility, that has caused those against a Trump presidency to hang their hopes on.
The left’s romance with Castro
As everyone probably knows by now, Fidel Castro, age 90, died on Friday. Castro was the architect of the communist revolution in Cuba, which was responsible for ending the cruel reign of dictator Batista, in 1959. Castro then proceeded to became Cuba’s leader, and served as such for nearly five decades. He only relinquished power in 2006 when his health started deteriorating. Since then, his brother, Raul Castro, has continued implementing his communist desires and designs.
Pimping out Hillary Clinton
It is well known that Hillary Clinton is devoid of charisma. In her public appearances she comes across as tense, rehearsed, and oftentimes disingenuous. Her quips (E.g. “Deal me in” “Trumped up trickle down”) all seem like they were dreamt up by a speechwriter and poll tested several times before being sent out into the public. Without being exciting, charismatic or new, she struggled to excite voters enough to join them to her cause.
The left who cried Hitler
This is the first American election season I have ever followed intensely. For me, it has been a crash course into understanding a different election process, a foreign culture, and an aggrieved people. The elections this year has captured the world’s attention like no other election in recent history. Many people have been consumed by its highs and lows, its twists and turns, its surprises and shocks. For Trump supporters, and those on the right, a new, hopeful era of political awakening has occurred. For Clinton supporters, and those on the left, the apocalypse has come early. This is not an exaggeration. This is an exact representation of how divided America has become.
